SAMBA, May 6: Samba Police today arrested an absconder who was evading arrest since long.
As per reports a police team of Police Post Mansar headed by incharge of PP Mansar under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba, arrested Showkat Ali, S/o Mohammed of Kashaed, Tehsil Billawar, district Kathua.
The absconder was evading arrest since long for his involvement in Case FIR Number 132/2009 U/S 380/411 RPC of P/S Samba.
The arrest has been the outcome of the continuous drive launched by Samba Police under the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra. It may be recalled during last over two months the Samba Police has tightened its noose on criminals, drug peddlers, bovine smugglers etc.
