SAMBA, May 9: Samba police has arrested two bootleggers and recovered from their possession 25 bottles of illicit liquor along with utensils used for manufacturing illicit Desi liquor.
The two arrested bootleggers have been identified as Kala Ram son of Sundar Dass of Rara tehsil, Ramgarh district Samba and MadanLal son of GirdhariLal of Reyore tehsil and district Samba.
Two separate FIRs under relevant sections of Excise Act have been registered at PS Ramgarh and PS Samba through PP Goran and investigations have been started.
Out of two arrested bootleggers, one has been arrested by a police team comprising of PSI, Vikrant Kotwal, in charge district NDPS Team Inspector, Sumit Sharma and SHO Police Station, Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar whereas other bootleggers has been arrested by a team comprising of in charge Police Post Goran, PSI SajidJaral and SHO Police Station Samba, Rajeshwar Singh.
