JAMMU, Apr 9: Salary of all ReT Teachers, RMSA Masters and teachers recruited under NPS schemes would be released before the end of April month, assured Priya Sethi, Minister of State for Education while interacting with a deputation of J&K Teacher’s Welfare Association (JKTWA) led by its president, Jasmeet Singh Madaan.
While dwelling on various measures for the upliftment of education standards in Government schools, Priya Sethi assured focussed attention towards the dying primary education and start of play-way school with full basic infrastructure on experiment basis on the pattern of Model School.
On the request of deputation, the Minister assured delinking of all Government schools to their respective locations. She said that very soon suitable accommodation will be provided by the Education Department at all these locations so that the students of that respective area where the school was sanctioned originally do not suffer.
The deputation also urged Priya Sethi to release the grants of RMSA to High and Higher Secondary School for the last financial year. In this context, Minister informed the deputation that it has already been released by the HRD Ministry and now it is being processed by Finance Ministry expeditiously to the department very soon.
On the request of JKTWA, the Minister gave nod to launch “Enrolment Drive” vigorously with the objective to increase the enrolment in all Government schools.
Priya Sethi assured the deputation that she would always stand for the rights of teachers’ community and asked the teachers to perform their duty with utmost dedication, devotion and sincerity.
