Jammu, Feb 8: Saksham, an organisation working for the welfare of the physically challanged persons organised a programme in Sewa Bharti Hall Ambphala Jammu.
The Prant Sang Chalak Brig Suchet Singh presided over the function and former Principal GMC Jammu and presently Head of the department of Radiology Dr Ganshyam Gupta was the guest of Honour.
All India Organising Secretary of the Saksham Dr Sukumar was the main speaker who threw light on the work undertaken by the Saksham. He stressed upon to establish an eye bank in the State. He emphasised that the physical disability is not a disqualification, rather the proper support from the society can extract the best talent from such persons.
The president of Jammu unit Prem Sagar Gupta extended the warm welcome to the guests whereas the proceedings were conducted by the Secretary Pawan Dev Singh Advocate. The state treasurer Bhuvaneshwar Gupta thanked the audience.
