JAMMU, Feb 8: Son of the soil Dr Gurmeet Singh hailing from Baramulla, Kashmir, who is Associate Dean, Research, Internationalisation and Postgraduate Affairs at the University of the South Pacific, Fiji, was honoured by Amity University, Noida Campus, India with Amity Global Academic Excellence Award.
He is one of the six academicians across the world who were honoured during 16th International Business Horizon INBUSH ERA-2016 held at Amity University, Noida campus.
Among those honoured were the Chancellor and founder of Universidad Del Pacifico, Ecuador, Dr Sonia Roca and Dean, Northampton University, UK, Professor Steven Taylor.
Awards were presented by the Vice Chancellor of Northampton University, UK, Prof Nick Petford and Group Vice Chancellor, Amity University, Noida Campus, Prof Gurinder Singh.
The award was based on Dr Gurmeet Singh’s impeccable academic background and contribution in the field of education and research.
