Sahitya Akademi organizes Yuva Sahiti Programme

JAMMU, Aug 26: Sahitya Akademi New Delhi organized Yuva Sahiti Programme, here today, where the young writers of Jammu presented their writing works.
Roshan Bral, Samvedna Sharma, Dheeraj Sharma, Shama Rajput and Rajinder Ranjha were invited to present their writings in the programme. These young writers performed for the first time on this nationally and internationally acknowledged platform.
While performing and presenting master pieces of their writings, they surprised and enthralled the august audience with their writing skill. Presented writings were based on different themes i. e. they had the reflection of various prevailing trends in the society.
Pertinent to mention that Sahitya Akademi New Delhi has been carrying a series of programmes to boost the languages registered in the Indian Constitution. These programmes include Meet the Author, Kavi Sandhi, Katha Sandhi, Through My Window, People and Book, Asmita, Grama Loka, seminars, symposiums, literary form, travel grant, Yuva Sahiti, creative writing and translation workshops, Mulakat, and writers meet etc. Yuva Sahiti is one of such programmes in which only young writers are invited to present their writing skill.
Personalities and Litterateur, who attended today’s programme, included Mohan Singh, Shivdev Singh Susheel, Sunita Bhadwal, Col Raj Manawari, Inderjeet Kesar, Dr Sudhir Mahajan, Dr Neelam Sareen and others.
Dr Sushma Rani, well known Dogri writer and member of Dogri Advisory Board, New Delhi, presented vote of thanks.
