JAMMU, Aug 26: District Congress Committee (DCC) Jammu Rural has expressed concern over the problems being faced by the people of Raipur-Domana constituency.
In a meeting here today, Hari Singh Chib, President DCC Rural Jammu said that grievances of people are being unheard due to the absence of elected Government in J&K.
He also said that people of Raipur-Domana constituency are facing problems of all sorts while none from the administration has visited them despite repeated requests.
The Congress leader also said that cremation ground in village Raipur is in shambles with no water available there and the district administration has failed to provide basic amenities to the people of Jammu in general and Raipur-Domana in particular.
Chib urged the Governor-led administration to direct the concerned officers to take adequate measure to mitigate the sufferings of the people of Raipur-Domana.
Those who were present in the meeting were Jatinder Bhagat, Kuldeep Kumar, Kamal Singh, Baiskhi Singh, Nirmal Singh, Prem Singh Chib, Capt Balwan Singh, and others.
