JAMAMU, July 22: In a simple but impressive literary function organized by ” Samprati ” in K L Saigal Hall Writers Club, here today two maiden poetry books of, Satish Kaul, ‘Safeer’ were released.
Among the two books which hit the stands one is in English ‘Burning Breeze’and another is in Kashmiri, ” ‘Shabna’mi Shreh’.
The function was presided over by veteran writer and critic Prof, R L Shant while as renowned writer cum poet B K Sanyasi was guest of honour. President, Samprati, R L Jowhar read the welcome address.
Er Vinod and Rajender Agosh presented their papers on the books. The galaxy of poets who attended the function were Aseer Kishtwari ,B N Betab, A K Naz, M L Pandita , Dildar Mohan, A K Zadu, Ashok Gowhar, B N Abhilash, Ashok Kaul, Ramesh Nirash, Virender Rawal, Santosh Shah Nadaan, Bimla Aima ,Kusum Dhar ‘Sharda’ Maharaj K Maharaj, Kundan Parus, Maharaj Vafadar, Rakesh Bhat , K K Lidhu, Naina Sapru ,Adarsh Ajit, Fozia Mugal, Piaray Lal Shangru and Vijay Wali.
The programme was conducted by Tej Sagar and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr Roshan Saraf.
