JAMMU, July 22: Chairman of Jammu Kashmir All Auto Union (JKAAU) and president of Mission Statehood Sunil Dimple today alleged that J&K Government has created problems for the black auto unions and owners, after launching 4000 new e-rickshaws in Jammu City.
Dimple said launch of e-rickshaws in such large number has badly affected the business of black autos and mini-buses of Jammu City which is 45-year-old transport system in the City of Temples.
He alleged the Government is collecting selling the new permits to generate more revenue and are hand in gloves with the e-rickshaw manufacturing companies. “Due to courtesy of the Government, owners of mini-buses and black autos are at the verge of starvation,” He said while interacting with media persons during a meeting of the Jammu Kashmir All Auto Union held at Jewel Chowk.
Dimple chaired the meeting attended largely by office bearers of the Union auto owners and drivers. On the occasion, he announced the constitution of the Jammu Kashmir All Auto Union. He also constituted the committees of all auto stands and started the registration process of the Union.
During the meeting, the office bearers of the Union took oath to give better services to the people and passengers, besides cooperating with traffic police. The oath was read by Sunil Dimple. All auto operators pledged to help the law and order agencies to eradicate the drugs menace and keep eyes on the anti social elements.
The office bearers of the Union present in the meeting were Sanjay Sethi (president), Haneef Choudhary (senior vice president), Ajiet Singh and Satish Kumar (general secretary), Amar Jeet Singh, Pawan Kumar, Vikram Sharma (vice-presidents), and Ranjit Singh and Taran singh (secretaries).
