UDHAMPUR, June 7: The dead body of a sage (Sadhu) was found hanging inside his hut in Majalta area of district Udhampur today.
A police spokesman said that Sadhu’s body was hanging from the ceiling fan hook in his hut in Kali Mata temple complex at village Sundla in Majalta Tehsil.
The police identified the deceased as Paras Ram (70), son of Chanda, resident of Duda, in Lohai Malhar area of Kathua district.
Locals was him hanging and immediately informed Police. The police party from Majalta rushed to the spot and took the dead body in custody. The dead body was shifted to PHC Majalta for the postmortem. The police registered a case and started investigation.
