SABLO flays cancellation of Amarnath yatra

JAMMU, June 21: Shri Amarnath Barfani Langars Organisation (SABLO) has expressed strong resentment on cancellation of Yatra 2021despite a huge decline in number of COVID cases in the country as well as UT of J&K.
When, Kumbh Mela and elections in states can be held, why not Amarnath Yatra, SABLO said in a handout issued here, today while questioning the decision of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) regarding the cancellation of the yatra for second consecutive year this time.
In 2019, Yatra was called off midway,
while in 2020, Yatra was cancelled and yet again in 2021 it has been cancelled, the handout added.
The general secretary of the SABLO, Rajan Gupta said in the wake of cancellation of Yatra 2021, is Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board sending back three Bhandaras to whom permission has been granted to open the langers on Baltal track?
Vijay Thakur, president, Rajan Gupta, general secretary, Pankaj Soni, finance secretary, SABLO have expressed strong resentment on cancellation of Yatra 2021and termed the decision unfortunate.
