JAMMU, Feb 3: Ram Vihar Welfare Association (RVWA), Ward No 35, Old Janipur, Jammu today discussed various issues and demands in its meeting held here today under the leadership of Kulwant Singh Sambyal.
The meeting demanded that JDA park of Old Janipur be handed over to Floriculture Department, as it is in worst condition. Fountains of the park are non-functional, there is no-greenery, no lightening system, no drinking water facility and no dustbin. Moreover, there is no chowkidaar or gardner to look after the park.
Besides this, the association also demanded upgradation and renovation of Government High School, Old Janipur, blacktopping in left over areas of Ward No 35 and opening of a ration Depot at Mohalla Ram Vihar.
