JAMMU, Jan 11: Presiding Officer of TADA Court Subash C Gupta today again adjourned the much publicized Dr Rubiya Syed kidnapping and killing of Indian Air Force personnel cases as Showkat Bakshi was not produced by the authorities.
Both these cases are at the stage of charge/discharge for the last 30 years on one pretext or the other.
While adjourning the case, court directed respective jail authorities to produce the accused -Yasin Malik and Showkat Ahmed Bakshi, preferably personally if not possible for security or other reason through video conferencing on next date of hearing—February 3, 2010 failing which, they have to explain, in this regard.
