JAMMU, June 20: Trained volunteers of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) took out a Path Sanchalan (March Past) in the city on Thursday evening with the message of patriotism, discipline and social harmony. During the Path Sanchalan, citizens welcomed the volunteers by showering flowers at various places over them.
The Path Sanchalan started from the Heritage School campus, Sainik Colony and after passing through various sectors of Sainik Colony and Babbar Chowk etc., it returned to starting point and culminated there. All the volunteers were marching step by step in the Path Sanchalan. The RSS volunteers were marching with the slogans on the tune of national songs while wearing the uniform, showing collective unity and discipline.
It is worthwhile to mention that the 15-day Sangh Shiksha Varg has been organized by the Sangh in the Heritage School campus in Sainik Colony near here.
In the Sangh Shiksha Varg, the volunteers go through rigorous disciplined sessions of yoga, physical activities, dialogue, discussion, workshop.
Before the march past, the volunteers were made to sing patriotic songs, solo songs and Amrit Vachan. On this occasion, the volunteers were given the message to protect the national identity, unity and integrity while remaining disciplined. Hundreds of workers including the Varg Sarvadhikari Surendra Mohan, Varg Karyavah Ajay Kumar etc. were present and encouraged volunteers.
The Sangh Shiksha Varg will culminate on June 24 evening with a grand programme in which Kamal Kishore Sharma retired director Agriculture Department and Mukul Kantekar RSS national Executive Member will grace the function and address the volunteers.
