LEH, Aug, 25: Rastriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) here organised a seminar on ‘Idea of Bharat’ where Ladakh Buddhist Association (LBA) President, P.T Kunzang was the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion Kunzang said that India is the biggest democratic country in the world having space for every individual following different faith and religion. He also said that Indian constitution safeguards fundamental right and equality of its every citizen including minorities thereby having equal opportunities and rights to its citizen.
Kunzang further said: “Like every citizen of the nation, Ladakhis are true nationalist who rendered wholehearted support to Indian army during different wars.”
Guest of honour was Chief Research Officer Sowa Rigpa, Dr. Padma Gurmet and he said that RSS has lot of contributions behind the UT status to Ladakh.
Main speaker RSS Sah Sarkaryvah, Dr. Manmohan Vaidya in his speech said that all religion preaches to treat different religions and faiths with respect and India is a culture diversity region having space and respect for all faiths which makes it Bharat.
RSS Vibhag Karyvah, Vijey Chhelingpa and Zila Karyvah, Tsewang Gyatso also spoke on the occasion.
