RSP seeks improvement of basic facilities in migrants’ camps

JAMMU, July 6: The State unit of Rashtriya Samajwadi Party (RSP) today held a meeting at Jammu to discuss various problems being faced by the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) Community.
The meeting which was presided over by Party Incharge, J&K, Sajad Reshi, was also attended by vice-president, Sanjay Dhar, besides members of party’s Migrant Minority Cell.
The meeting said that the overage unemployed youth of KP are facing enormous suffering and one time lump sum assistance package may be announced to mitigate the sufferings of the unemployed youth.
Alleging that the ration to the eligible KP families is being distributed with a considerable delay, the speakers urged the Government to supply the same before 5th of every month. They further asserted that the duration of power cuts may be curtailed to 3 hours a day in the migrants’ camps and water supply be improved.
The meeting also sought improvement of public transport facility in all migrant camps and proper supply of medicines in the hospitals of those camps.
