Rs 25 lakh relief sought for NHM employee’s family

DODA, Aug 18: Sr NHM leader and former District President NHM Association Doda Faizan A Tramboo has demanded special compensation cum financial assistance to the family of deceased NHM employee Pawan Kumar from district Kathua.
In a press statement issued to media, Tramboo said that late Pawan Kumar, age around 42 years (ISM Pharmacist) got martyred in the line of duty towards nation after he got electrocuted while hoisting National Flag in Hospital Building to celebrate Independence Day 2022.
Tramboo said that, as Pawan Kumar was the only earning hand of his family, the Govt should immediately grant special compensation and financial assistance of around 25 Lacs in favour of his family on the analogy of those who sacrificed their lives towards Nation, to mitigate the loss to certain extent even though the human loss is irreparable.
Terming the deceased as national hero who lost his life while hosting National Flag, Tramboo said that NHM Employees working in Health Department have been putting strenuous efforts to ensure better healthcare services to the people in rural and farflung areas of J&K UT by putting their life at risk since last 15 years without any job security.
