KISHTWAR, Nov 18: District Development Commissioner, Angrez Singh Rana, today laid foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs. 14.87 crore under Pakal Dul HEP Rehabilitation and Resettlement Plan for area development of Dachhan at Sounder, Dachhan, Kishtwar.
The works included construction of Community Hall Sounder, Common Demonstration Center at Sounder, Play field at HHS Sounder, Common facilitation Center at Sounder Dachhan, Recreational Park at Sounder Dachhan, Hospital Building with Staff quarters at Suid Dachhan, Grid Station at Sounder Dachhan and remodelling /construction of Sounder Khul, Tehsil headquarter Office at Sounder Dachhan.
Meanwhile, the DDC convened a public grievances redressal camp at Sounder Dacchan where the locals apprised him of various problems and demands related to development of their respective areas.
DDC directed SDM Marwah and other concerned officers to ensure redressal of issues raised by the people in a phased manner and submit action taken report accordingly.
He emphasised upon field functionaries of RDD and PRIs to conduct monthly Gram Sabha meetings in all the targeted panchayats.
