UDHAMPUR, July 29: The Rashtriya Rifles Battalion organised a Medical camp at Kalakote Stadium to ameliorate the medical and health issues of people residing in the remote villages.
A total of 350 villagers, children including veterans and women availed the facilities set up by the Army in medical camp. Doctors and medical representatives from the Army and civil administration provided treatment to all patients at the medical camp which was organised with the objective of providing medical aid to people from far flung areas.
The Army distributed number of aids such as 21 pairs of Crutches, 11 Wheel Chair, hearing aids, nine Tri Cycles and three Waterbeds to the differently abled persons. Distribution of free medicines, on the site specialist support, physiotherapist was provided at the stalls for medical checkup and advise. Three doctors, dental technician and Regimental Medical Officer extended medical support to the patients.
