JAMMU, May 2: Transport authorities have suspended Route Permit/Registration Certificates of 54 vehicles in Udhampur district.
Official sources said that Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Udhampur, Ramesh Samnotra, suspended the Route Permit/ Registration Certificates (RCs) of 54 vehicles for three months, mostly Tata Mobiles and trucks on the recommendation of District Police and Traffic Police authorities. The Permits and RCs were suspended for being habitual offenders and against them several FIRs have been lodged at various Police Stations.
