Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital organizes free screening camp

UDHAMPUR, Aug 26: Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur organized a free screening camp at PHC Sudhmahadev, here today.
Medical team from Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur, led by Dr Ankur Goel (Ophthalmic Surgeon) examined the patients. In the said camp, 236 patients were examined and out of them, 40 were screened for implantation of IOL, which will be implanted at Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur on August 30, 2017.
Most of the members of Rotary Club Udhampur were present at camp location, Rtn D N Sharma, Chairman of Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur, Rtn Rajendra Sanson, secretary general, Mohd Rafiq, Naib Tehsildar, Dina Nath social worker, Dr Mohit, Medical Officer PHC Sudhmahadev actively participated in the camp.
Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur committed  that Rotary will continue to organize such more camps in rural and backward areas  to prevent the preventable blindness from the J & K State so that poor people are  benefited.
