JAMMU, Aug 25: Rotary Club of Jammu city and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi (SMVD) Narayana Superspecialty Hospital are holding a free multi-speciality medical camp on Sunday, the August 27, at Institute of Engineers, Sector 3, Channi Himmat, Jammu from 10 am to 2 pm.
Revealing this at a press conference here today, the speakers said that the camp is the result of the desire of Rotary Club of Jammu city to reach out to the underprivileged sections of our society. “During the camp, patients from all sections of society will be given free consultancy for diseases related to Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Nephrology and Oncology”, they said.
In the camp, eminent specialists from SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital including Dr Amit Basnotra (Gastroenterology), Dr Ram Kinkar Jha (Orthopedics), Dr Mohammad Maqbool Sohil (Cardiology), Dr Satyankar Gupta (Oncology) and Dr Deepak Pathania (Nephrology) will be the consultants in attendance.
In addition to the free consultation, free testing facility including blood test, blood pressure test, ECG and mammography will be done at the venue through the mobile vans provided by SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital.
The speakers made a fervent appeal to the public at large to attend the camp and make best use of the free medical consultation by the best specialists in their field and free testing facility.
The press conference was addressed by Anil Swaraj (president, Rotary Club, Jammu city), Sandeep Beri (project director), JD Singh (secretary), KB Magotra and Arun Ninawat on behalf of Rotary Club of Jammu city and Sujit Khare, Marketing Head, on behalf of SMVD Narayana Superspecialty Hospital.
