Rotary Club organizes free eye camp

UDHAMPUR, Dec 22:   An eye camp was held by Rotary Club, Udhampur in collaboration with KLSM Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital Udhampur at Hari Prabhu Ashram, Nagrota Gujroo in tehsil Billawar.
The camp was organized under Rotary’s initiative for prevention of blindness and to provide gift of sight to poor patients sufferings from cataract blindness. The team of doctors from Rotary Eye and ENT Hospital,  Udhampur led by Dr Ankur Goel examined the patients.
A total of 75 patients were checked up out of which 16 patients were screened for implantation of IOL, who will be operated free of cost at their Rotary Hospital, Udhampur.
The medicine during the eye camp were arranged and supplied by Col D K Nanda, sole Trustee of Shanti Path Trust Jammu.
Other present on the occasion included  SC Gupta, D N Sharma, Chairman Rotary Club, Udhampur, Jagmohan Gupta and Subash Gupta.
