INDORE: ‘Hitman’ Rohit Sharma, who got this name for showering numerous sixes at the field, became the first Indian to hit 300 sixes in T20 cricket across all tournaments.

Rohit achieved this record in 279 matches and with this, Rohit has become the seventh player to hit 300 sixes. Before Rohit, Chris Gayle (844) has hit the most sixes in the shortest format of the game.
