SRINAGAR, Nov 25: Announcing a decisive war against drugs, Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP), national spokesperson, Sanjay Saraf today said that his party will launch an anti-drug awareness campaign in all 10 districts of the Valley from December 10.
While talking to media persons, here, today Saraf said that drugs are killing the young generation. He stated that the drug dealers are criminals and enemies of the humanity. He said those who are behind this menace should be exposed in public. Saraf also demanded that the Government should establish more anti-drug centers and urged to provide better medical and rehabilitation facilities for the youth suffering from this addiction.
Saraf expressed his concern that youngsters are falling in addiction and said that if society will not wake up, it will spoil the entire society and the youngsters will get spoiled.
Saraf expressed hope that the representatives of Jammu and Kashmir in the pre budget meeting with Union Finance Minister will put their point of view on the situation and conditions in J&K and ask for additional funds to restart delayed projects, and the issue of daily wagers and unemployed youths will also be raised.
Saraf demanded relief to people of J&K from power curtailment and relaxation in tariff rate especially to poor people who can’t afford high rates.
Demanding reconsideration of the recent increase in electricity fee, Saraf said that apart from consumers, traders should also be given discount in electricity fee.
Expressing concern over the attacks on minorities, Saraf said that such killings should be stopped and minorities be given protection properly.
