JAMMU, Feb 14: Rich tributes to martyrs of Pulwama attack, who lost their lives, when convoy of vehicles carrying CRPF personnel on Jammu-Srinagar NH was attacked by vehicle borne suicide bomber at Lethapora in Pulwama District on 14 February, 2019.

A programme was organized in the GC CRPF Bantalab Campus in memory of Pulwama martyrs. “Shaheed Head Constable Naseer Ahmed Vatika” was prepared near the Shaheed Smarak. This Vatika was inaugurated by Veer Nari Shazia Kousher, wife of martyred Head Constable Naseer Ahmed in the presence of PS Ranpise, IGP Jammu Sector CRPF, Pradeep Chandra DIGP, Ashok Samyal DIGP, Anil Kumar Chaturvedi DIGP, RK Gupta Commandant and other Gazetted Officer and personnel. All officers and personnel paid tribute martyrs who were martyred in the Pulwama attack.
Former Minister and MLA Sukhnandan Choudhary along with DDC Marh Balbir Rattan, BDC Block Marh Surinder Kumar, Sarpanches and Panchs paid tribute to the Pulwama martyrs.
Advocate Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor JMC paid tributes to Pulwama martyrs by organizing Bhajan Sandhya under the theme “Ek Shaam Shaheedo Ke Naam” at KL Sehgal Hall, near Abhinav Theatre, Jewel. Among others present were Parshotam Dadachi, Ashok Koul, Vibodh Gupta, Rajesh Bittu, Mahamandlashwar Mahant Ramashwar Dass and Dutt Giri Maharaj. They also paid tributes to the martyrs.
BJP OBC Morcha staged protests against Pakistan and torched Pakistani flag in various districts as a tribute to Pulwama martyrs. Main protest was held at Vijaypur Chowk and was organised by Madan Lal District President BJP OBC Morcha Samba. Dr Davinder Manyal Former Cabinet Minister and General Secretary BJP JK-UT, Braham Jyot Satti President BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT, Anju Dogra Seh Prabhari BJP OBC Morcha JK-UT, Amar Singh District President BJP, Deepak Pagotra Chairman Municipal Committee and many others were present on the occasion.
Congress organized a program in Gangyal Ward Number 56 to pay homage to the Pulwama martyrs. On this occasion, Former Minister and UT Vice-President Raman Bhalla, Former Chairman of JMC, Satish Sharma, Chairman of Brahmin Sabha KK Sharma, Ward President Gautam Sharma, Baldev Singh Wazir, Congress party leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
Ex-Central Paramilitary Forces Welfare Association assembled at Press Club Jammu and  kept two minutes silence in the memories of the 40 CRPF security personnel who were martyred in an attack at Pulwama on 14th of February 2019 by Pak sponsored militants. General Secretary of the Association DK Chauhan, President Shashi Sharma, Joint Secretary Khushal Singh Bist, Shamsher Singh Manhas and others were present on the occasion.
IkkJutt Jammu under the aegis of its Youth Wing IkkJutt Yuva, organized a havan and poorn-ahuti to pay rich tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack. President IkkJutt Jammu Ankur Sharma, General Secretary Ashwani Sharma, Kiran Kumar, Youth Incharge Ajay Singh Saini, Vir-Vikramaditya, Harish Kapoor and young team of IkkJutt Jammu Roop Nagar and Janipur offices were present.
Apni Party leaders and workers remembered the martyrs of Pulwama militant attack in Vijaypur. Led by Provincial President Jammu and Former Minister Manjit Singh, the leaders and workers of the party assembled at Vijaypur and remembered the sacrifices of the CRPF personnel martyred in a militant attack.
To pay tributes to Pulwama martyrs, Sunil Dimple President Mission Statehood and Jammu West Assembly Movement along with large number of people of all communities held Anti Pakistan protest and burnt flags of Pakistan and China. Among others present were Harbans Tondon, Ram Kapoor, Chaman Pawar, Vijay Kumar, Anmol Anand, Sunny Agarwal, Sahil, Sunil Kumar, Sonu, Arjun Anand, Rakesh and Bittu.
The workers of Dogra Front and Shiv Sena under the leadership of President Ashok Gupta paid tributes to the Pulwama martyrs. The party workers observed silence for few minutes and remembered the martyred soldiers. Among others present were Abhishek, Manu, Nanku, Vijay, Rakesh, Ajay, Dinesh, Bantu, Naresh, Prem, Kalu, Vishal, Kirti, Abhishek, etc.
Aam Aadmi Party Jammu paid homage to Pulwama martyrs. Aam Aadmi Party delegates observed 2 minutes silence and prayed for the departed souls. Prominent among those present were Ravi Shastri, Mahesh Sudan, Sewak Singh, Balwinder Singh, Mehar Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Amit Langer, Sher Singh, etc.
Aam Aadmi Party Jammu Province activists assembled in party office at Gandhi Nagar, Jammu and paid respect to the Pulwama martyrs. Prominent among those who attended and spoke on the occasion include Om Parkash Khajuria, Farooq Ahmed Bonday, Ram Singh Chauhan, Rajesh Bali, Raj Kumar Nischal, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Ram Pal Khajuria, Parmveer Singh, Advocate DK Bhagat, Amrik Singh, Khushi Bhagat, etc.
While paying tributes to Pulwama martyrs, Shiv Sena Bala Saheb Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit gave full credit to the security forces for peaceful atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded a dedicated residential colony for security personnel in the Kashmir. Shiv Sena UT President Manish Sahni along with Rakesh Gupta Chairman, Vikas Bakshi General Secretary, Bodhraj Secretary, Sanjeev Soodan, Geeta Lakhotra, Dimple, Mamta Devi, Ashish Wali, Arun and many others paid floral tributes to the martyrs.
Dr Rameshwar Singh, Zonal Medical Officer, Primary Health Centre Koti Chandyar paid rich tributes to soldiers who attained martyrdom in the Pulwama terrorist attack. Floral tributes were paid and lamps were also lit to pay homage to the brave hearts. Among others present were Panchayat member Mohammad Yasin, Mohammad Irfan, Nasir Sheikh, Sher Khan and Gyas Din.
In an impressive way to pay tributes to the martyrs of Pulwama attack, volunteers of NGO Umeed donated around 40 units of blood to recognize their sacrifice. The blood donation camp was organized under leadership of Anav Langer President NGO Umeed and Urvi Langer Vice President. SDM Gopal Singh was the chief guest whereas SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandiyal and Team Jammu Chairman Zorawar Singh Jamwal were the guest of honors and SHO Akhnoor Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar was the special guest. In the beginning of the programme floral tributes were paid to the martyrs followed by a patriotic singing performance by Rahul and Rohit. At the end of program, appreciation certificates were given to the donors. Others present during program were Sajal, Suren, Harsh, Aniket, Anubhav, Rajan, Jatin Manni, Saima, Ankita, Suksham, Meetali, Ayush, Siddarth, Dr Abhinandan, Bhupendra Singh, Jimmy Mani, Sham Lal Magotra, Rahul Langer, Arun Chib and Rajesh Sharma.
ABVP organized a candle march from Hidyal Chowk to Shaheedi Chowk in Kishtwar to pay tributes to Pulwama martyrs. The march was led by ABVP City Secretary Shivam Sharma.
Youth Congress held candle march at Brij Nagar in remembrance of martyrs in Pulwama terrorist attack. Ankush Raina and Nakul Sharma, Secretaries, J&K Pradesh Youth Congress, Madan Lal Sharma, KL Sharma, Tilak Raj Sharma, Pappy Sharma, Puneet Raina and many others were present on the occasion.
