Return, rehabilitation of KPs mandatory for peace in Valley: Panun Kashmir

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Sept 10: Notwithstanding the fact, abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A , no peace will prevail in Kashmir unless and until the dignified and honourable return of Kashmiri Pandits to Valley takes place, as per the Margdarshan Resolution of 1991 which envisages a separate Homeland to preserve the ethnicity, culture and heritage.
This was disclosed by convenor Panun Kashmir (PK) Ravinder Jalali in a meeting here, today. He said abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A is a welcome step and will definitely pave the way for the settlement of KPs and will not now require intervention of State politicians and Mehbooba or Abdullahs` permission, who were otherwise opposing tooth and nail over the settlement of KPs in Valley. Now there shops are closed and Narendra Modi led Government at the Centre deserve all the kudos. He said that all the efforts of the Government, whether by Central or State, will fall short of and the real test is the return of Kashmiri Pandits to their homeland of which they are aborigines.
Jalali emphasised that the return of Kashmiri Pandits with honour and dignity to Kashmir will be the litmus test for the Government to ensure peace and stability in J&K. He further said that if Pakistan will export terror or violence to J&K or India, unless there are takers they will not succeed and who are these takers and how they are existing on Indian soil. “Takers do not exist with out the patronage of the politicians and their political parties because they are the same people who are being exploited by the political parties for their vested interests. So we have to deal firmly with these takers as well” he added.
