Return mortal remains of Afzal Guru to family members: Babu Singh

JAMMU, Feb 10: Founder, Nature-Mankind Friendly Global Movement, Former Minister, Babu Singh has demanded return of mortal remains of Afzal Guru to his family members.
In a statement, Singh appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to issue directions for the return of mortal remains of Afzal Guru to his family members because this is a basic social and cultural right of a human being.
Singh stated that this step will heal the wound of Guru’s family and injured psyche of J&K people to some extent and can also facilitate to create conducive atmosphere for the resolution of historical J&K dispute.
He added that admitting the mistakes regarding Afzul Guru’s hanging affairs, not allowing last meeting to his family and rejecting the demand for return of mortal remains of Afzul Guru, which were admitted by five Congress MLAs from J&K is a positive move.
Singh further stated that by raising voice in favour of basic human rights does not mean to support any kind of terrorist attack or terrorism.
