JAMMU, Nov 23: A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum, led by its State vice president Bhupinder Singh, called on Education Minister Naeem Akhtar apprised him about the problems of ReTs across the State.
while interacting with the Minister the Forum vice president Bhupinder Singh raised the genuine issues of ReTs and regularized ReTs and sought streamlining of their salary, which has been pending. He also demanded transfer policy in favour of Regularized ReTs and particularly for female Regularized ReTs.
Besides, enhancement of monthly wages of newly appointed ReTs from Rs 3000 to Rs 12000, benefit of SRO-43 in favour of ReTs, exam duties to ReT etc, were demanded.
After giving a patient hearing to the members of delegation, Education minister assured to streamline the salary issue and other issues as early as possible.
