Retirees accorded warm farewell

JAMMU, Feb 28: Information Department today accorded a warm farewell to Romesh Kumar, Music Composer, who proceeded on superannuation today after over 38 years’ of service. Joint Director Information Jammu Namrita Dogra wished the retiring employee a very happy, healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Others who wished the Retiring Officer include Deputy Director (Headquarter) Dr Rehana Akhtar Bijli, Deputy Director Information (PR) Gul Hassan Kraipak, Cultural Officer Parul Khajuria and Field Publicity Officer, Mukesh Kumar.
Rakesh Chander, Senior Veterinary Pharmacist, Animal Husbandry Department, Doongi (Agrati, Rajouri) who retired today after serving the Department for 38 years, was accorded a warm send off by his colleagues in a simple function. All his colleagues wished him a happy and prosperous post-retirement life.
Farewell functions were organized by Police today in PCR Kashmir, Ganderbal and Budgam to accord warm send-off to the officers who have superannuated from their active services. The superannuated officers include SI Abdul Salam and HC Abdul Majeed of PCR Kashmir, ASIs Bashir Ahmad, Mohammad Yousuf, Abdul Gani and Abdul Gaffar of Ganderbal Police and SI Abdul Rahim Wani & ASI Abdul Rashid Wani of Budgam Police.
A warm send off was given to Ashok Kumar (Chauffer) from Jal Shakti (PHE) Department, Mechanical Rural Division, Jammu on his retirement. The farewell function was organized by PHE Department Drivers, Cleaners Union, Jammu Province. All the office bearers wished good health and prosperous retired life to the retiree.
Ravi Jee Raina, Cashier, Government Treasury, New Plot (Jammu), was accorded a warm farewell by his colleagues on his retirement from the service after 33 years. The concerned Treasury Officer and all staff members wished the retiree a peaceful and prosperous retired life.
