Retd DySP among 3 injured in clash

SAMBA, Oct 4: A retired DySP of J&K Police, his wife and a relative were injured in a group clash over a land dispute at village Harsth in Ghagwal area of district Samba today.
A police spokesman giving details said that over an old land dispute, there was clash between the two families at the village. Both the sides exchanged lathis and in the incident three persons namely retired DySP Janak Rak, his wife Kaushalya Devi and a relative (Sandhu), namely Khairati Lal were injured. They were hospitalized at Samba. The members of other group namely Rajeshwar Singh and Onkar Nath also sustained minor injuries. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
