MENDHAR, Aug 28: A retired Army officer died after he was hit by a blade of JCB engaged in construction of road in Nakka Majari area of Balakote today.
A police spokesman said that Hony Capt (Retd) Mohd Dil Pazeer Khan, son of Atta Mohammed, resident of Nakka Majari was standing at the site where a JCB was engaged at road construction work to the village. During the process of work, the blade of JCB hit the retired capt, causing him serious injury. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him as dead. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
