ReT teachers reiterate long pending demands

RAMBAN, July 1: All J&K Rehbar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum, District Unit Ramban expressed deep concern over the casual approach of the State Government towards their long pending demands, here today.
According to a handout issued here, a meeting of the Forum was held under the chairmanship of its President Gulzabir Ahmed Daing at Dak Banglow, here.
The members said that Government’s delay tactics was forcing them to take the agitational path, adding that the Forum would be holding one day protest at all district headquarters on July 7.
Their demands included regularization of EVs who have completed 7 years of service, inclusion of 5 years services of ReTs in seniority benefits and implementation of SRO 115 for the appointees of the year 2010 and comprehensive transfer policy for regularized RET teachers.
Others who attended the meeting included Shahnawaz Naik, Surjeet Singh, Om Parkash, Waseem-ul-Hassan, Farooq Runyal, Durga Singh, Tauseef Ahmed, Fayaz Ahmed and Dilbag Singh.
