UDHAMPUR, Apr 5: Demanding release of pending salary under SSA, members of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum held a protest demonstration, here today.
The protest was organized after a monthly meeting under the chairmanship of State president Vinod Sharma and district president Lekh Raj Parihar.
Representatives of the Forum from all the 11 zones including Udhampur, Jib, Chenani, Tikri, Panchari, Ramnagar, Dudu, Kalwanta, Ghordi etc took part in the protest and raised slogans for release of SSA salary, which is pending for the last 5 to 10 months.
On the occasion, it was unanimously decided that the ReT Teachers Forum will hold State wide protest demonstrations at all the district headquarters on April 13, 2015 in support of burning issue of SSA salary. They also threatened to close all the schools on the day if the salary is not released before then.
Vinod Sharma addressed the gathering and alleged that the State Government was forcing the ReTs to adopt agitational path for their salary.
Others who addressed the gathering, included Sham Sharma, Sukhdev Singh, Sukesh Khajuria, Ashok Seth, Chain Singh, Ravinder Rathore, Sandeep Sharma, Sushil Singh, Vipin Sharma, Amit Sharma, Man Chand, Anil Sharma, Rakesh Tripathi, Pawan Sharma, Bhushan Khajuria, Aruna Devi, Sunita, Vandana and Anita.
