JAMMU, Mar 31: Monthly meeting of J&K ReT Teachers Forum was held here today under the chairmanship of its State president Vinod Sharma for discussing long pending demands and other issues.
The meet hailed the Finance Minister’s statement over framing a transfer policy for regularized ReT teachers and urged the Government to issue an order in this regard.
Speakers in the meeting, highlighted the demands, which include regularization of EVs as general line teachers who have completed seven years in the service, inclusion of five years as ReT in service book of regularized teachers, pension and other benefits to the ReTs appointed before 1-1-2010, provision of SRO-43 in favour of ReT/EV teachers and transfer policy for them.
Those who spoke in the meeting, included Younis Rahi Teli, Lekh Raj Parihar, Meena Kumari, Rajesh Singh, Ravinder Singh, Gurcharan Singh, Ravinder Chib, Kuldeep Raj, Manzoor Hussain and others.
