NEW DELHI, Aug 26: A deputation of All J&K ReT Teachers Forum led by its State president Vinod Sharma and State chief coordinator, Sukhdev Singh called on Minister of State in PMO with independent Charge of Science and Technology, Dr Jitendra Singh here, today and apprised him of their problems.
The delegation apprised him of the problems being faced by regularized ReT teachers under SSA scheme who are without salaries for last six to eight months.
The delegation also demanded release of pay arrears of educated volunteers who have been deprived of the same for last one year. The delegation appealed the Minister to release the funds under SSA so that the teachers are paid salaries.
Dr Singh assured the delegation that he will take up the issue with HRD Minister.
