JAMMU, July 16: Shiv Jee Temple Welfare Committee Kralpora, Khushki Rainawari , Srinagar today demanded immediate restoration of the land of temple encroached by some anti social persons.
The Committee through its representative Vijay Kumar Zutshoi in a letter to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, Migrants Jammu has sought his intervention in the matter and demanded restoration of the temple land. He said the temple has a big Dharmshalla which was also demolished and its land was encroached.
The Committee said though the issue was already brought in the notice of the authorities including DC Srinagar and higher-ups but no one took action against the encroacher.
The temple being a matter of faith for the community, the Committee demanded that the trespasser should be dealt under law so that no one dares to take such a step in future also and security of the temple premises be also ensured.
