JAMMU, Mar 27: A general meeting of Mohalla Welfare Committee of Lane No 3, Janki Vihar, Patoli Morh, Old Janipur, was held under the chairmanship of Koushal Kumar, wherein the speakers highlighted various civic problems being faced by the people of the area.
The speakers alleged that the safai karamcharis deployed in the locality do not visit regularly due to which the drains always remain choked. “Moreover, the street lights in the lanes are out of order and need immediate attention of the Municipal Corporation”, they added.
The meeting appealed the Municipal Corporation to take immediate action to mitigate the sufferings of the residents.
