Srinagar, Jan 17: A residential house and a shop were gutted in two fire incidents in the Valley.
A police spokesman said fire broke out in the residential house of Nissar Ahmad Sheikh son in law of Haji Mohammad Subhan Shiekh of Janglat Mandi in district Anantnag. The house was completely damaged in the incident.
In another incident, a shop of Rayees Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar of Sagam Kokernag at Naibasti KP Road, Anantnag, was damaged.
The fire was brought under control with the help of fire tenders, he added.
