Reserved category employees’ protest enters 29th day

JAMMU, June 29: The protest of All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees’ Association Kashmir continued on 25th consecutive day today at Ambedkar Chowk, Jammu.
The protesting employees raised various slogans and urged the Lt Governor led Administration to address their 3-point genuine demands including formation of a comprehensive time bound transfer policy, utilization of services of employees in their respective districts and not to pressurize the Jammu based employees to resume their duties in prevailing situation in Kashmir Valley.
To boost the morale of protesting employees, various socio-religious organization came forward in their support. Among them a prominent personality Dr Jeet Raj Barjala, retired BMO and a social activist participated in the protest, interacted with protesting employees and extended his full support for genuine demands of Jammu based employees in every respect.
Ramesh Chand, prominent member of Core Committee of All Jammu based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir also spoke on the occasion. He said their agitation will continue till their demands are not fulfilled.
