JAMMU, June 22: The protest demonstration of All Jammu Based Reserved Category Employees Association Kashmir here today entered day 22.
The protesting employees demanded their transfers to Jammu by framing a comprehensive time-bound transfer policy.
They said that the government should utilize their services in Jammu province till suitable transfer policy is framed for them.
The protesting employees appealed the concerned authorities not to pressurize the employees from Jammu working in Kashmir by issuing orders of transfers/deployment especially in Shri Amar Nath Yatra or to resume duties.
They said that resuming duties is not feasible for Jammu based employees owing to the recent selective killings of Rajni Bala at Govt. High School, Gopalpora, Kulgam and others in Kashmir valley, as employees are in fear and mental trauma.
The protesting employees raised slogans in favour of their demands.
Addressing protesters, Babu Hussain Malik, State president EJAC urged the government that all Jammu based employees should be immediately transferred to their respective home districts as they are not the part of rehabilitation policy of the government.
