Repair road network

Sir,
The recent rains caused immense damage to road network in the State. As per data  collected by the R&B Department, over 2500 roads and 163 small bridges have been damaged in the Jammu province alone due to recent floods.
The road network in far flung areas has been damaged terribly. Though roads in cities and towns catch the attention of the authorities  immediately, the roads in villages do not get much priority.
It is only after villagers make many rounds of the R&B department and plead the case vigorously, do they get their road (s) repaired or macadamized. At several places the bad condition of roads make access of relief  distribution authorities to the flood hit areas quite difficult.
Besides, villagers have to walk several kilometers before they could catch a bus or a matador. One goes through a great deal  of trouble while travelling in a  bus on these roads.
The Government is requested to direct the authorities to repair damaged roads on priority basis.
Yours etc….
