SRINAGAR, May 27: Chairman of Kashmir Society International, Renzushah today said that development in the Valley was biggest casualty of the three decade turmoil and hence special measures should be taken to keep the Kashmir development politics free, conflict free and dispute free.
“Kashmir tourism which was ranking at highest position in map of world tourism before nineties, has come down virtually to zero level because of political conspiracies by power brokers in volcano of conflict, turmoil and disputes,” he said while talking to media persons, here today.
Renzushah alleged that because of false, emotional and provocative slogans from 1947 till date by the politicians who sacrificed Kashmir development for consolidation of their power by managing to win elections either unopposed or through 3 percent votes, 97 percent population of Kashmir remained deprived of democracy and their due rights.
Maintaining that only Narendra Modi has the capacity and capability to win hearts of people of Kashmir by keeping such vultures away from politicalizing Kashmir development for their own vested interests, Renzushah urged PM to declare Kashmir development politics free, conflict free and dispute free.
