Singh CC, Stadium XI script convincing wins

JAMMU, May 27: Singh Cricket Club defeated Scoring Blues by a big margin of 112 runs at GGM Science College Hostel ground, Jammu, while Stadium XI drubbed Royal Strikers Kharote by 3 wickets at Police Lines Kathua in the ongoing JKCA District Level Cricket Tournament, being organised under the overall supervision of Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA, here.
At Jammu, batting first, Singh Cricket Club scored a big total of 243 runs. Jadvinder top scored with 62 runs, while Nitin, Gourav and Chetan contributed 48, 35 and 32 runs to the total respectively. From Scoring Blues, Junaid took 4 wickets, while Shoaib and Aqib claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, Scoring Blues managed to score 131 runs to lose the match by a big margin of 112 runs. Junaid and Mehraj scored 42 and 32 runs to the total respectively, while Shoaib contributed 14 runs to the total. From Singh Club, Anil and Surinder took 4 wickets each. Jadvinder was declared as man of the match.
At Kathua, Royal Strikers Kharote scored 109 runs in 24.3 overs. Raman top scored with 51 runs, while Gourav contributed 12 runs to the total. From Stadium XI, Rompy Sharma was the pick of the bowlers, who took 5 important wickets, while Jatinder Singh took 3 wickets.
In reply, Stadium XI chased the target in 14.3 overs by losing 7 wickets, thus won the match by 3 wickets. Ricky top scored with 59 runs while Himanshu contributed 11 runs to the total. From Royal Strikers Kharote, Raman took 3 wickets, while Pardeep claimed 2 wickets. Rompy was declared as man of the match.
