JAMMU, May 27: A campus placement drive was today held at IECS Polytechnic where recruiters from AM Hyundai, Diamond Honda and AM TATA visited.
Eight Mechanical Department students were selected during the drive and were given offer letters by Akshay, Vice President (Service), Jammu Auto Mart Pvt. Ltd and Soumya Nigam Asst. Executive (HR), Jammu Auto Mart Pvt. Ltd in JCB India Ltd.
The selected students were Rajat Kapahi, Arjun Gupta, Yogeshwar Singh, Janu Verma, Divyadeep Singh, Yug Kesar, Sudhakar Dayal and Sahil Sharma.
Ajay Jamwal, Dean (Adm)-cum-Training Placement while welcoming the senior management and HR Heads from participating companies apprised that drive is combination of three years hard work of faculty and students.
The management and other staff of the college congratulated the selected students and expressed hope that they will join these companies after completion of their final semester and try to learn various practical application of the knowledge attained by them during their training period.
Others present during the Drive were Prof. K.G Gupta, Amit Sharma, Principal, IECS, Sonika Koul, Coordinator, H.N Bhat, HoD, Mechanical Deptt and Vijay Singh Chib, HoD, Electrical Deptt.
