Relief holders of Jagti decry Govt for increasing power cuts

JAMMU,  June 19:  Relief holders and over aged youth of Jagti today urged the Government to enter an agreement with them on the power issue and they are ready to pay power tariff on meter basis  provided Government holds negotiations with them and agrees their view point on the issue.
In a statement Ajay Bhat and Sunil Pandita said that Government should not thrust the decision on camp inmates especially relief holders who are hard pressed and hardly make their both ends meet. They said before taking the decision the Government should take the relief holders of the camp into consideration. They criticized the Government of increasing power curtailment further by one hour and also expressed concern over water scarcity in the camp.
The said the camp inmates are facing acute water scarcity for last one week and no body in the administration bothers to solve the problem.
