JAMMU, Jan 31: Demanding enhancement of relief and one time compensation for overaged youth of the community, relief holders held a demonstration at Jagti Camp today.
The demonstration was led by Sunil Pandita and Vijay Koul who expressed grave concern over the delay in payment of relief for the month of December and accused the authorities of deliberately putting the migrants to problems.
They said that the callousness of Government towards the displaced Pandits has led to the frustration of over-aged youth. The protestors demanded enhancement of cash relief with on time package for over aged youth and honourable and dignified rehabilitation of the exiled community.
