JAMMU, Mar 26: All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation (LPEF) has demanded release of DA installment and enhancement of Medical allowance of the government employees and pensioners.
In a meeting of the LPEF held here today under the leadership of its convenor Achal Dev Singh Salathia, the members discussed issues concerning their welfare. While speaking on the occasion Salathia expressed serious concern over the delay being caused by the UT Administration in increasing Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners in Jammu and Kashmir as per the Central/ UT norms. He demanded that it should be enhanced from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
LPEF leader also demanded release of 4 % DA installment of employees and pensioners due from January 2023. He also urged upon the Government for revision of daily wages rate to Rs 600 per day in J&K and hike in the remuneration of Anganwadi Workers and Village Guards in view of inflation.
