JAMMU, May 21: The relatives of a missing woman hailing from Talab Tillo today held a protest and demanded recovery of the woman.
As per police sources, Shaguna Gupta, wife of Ashwani Gupta of Talab Tillo went missing yesterday.
The relatives of the lady lodged a missing complaint with police post Talab Tillo in this regard.
After registering a case, police launched manhunt to recover the missing lady but failed, which created anguish among the relatives of the lady.
The irate relatives of the missing lady along with locals blocked the Talab Tillo road, resulting into long traffic snarls.
The protestors were demanding immediate recovery of the missing lady.
On getting information, senior police officials rushed to the spot and pacified the protestors assuring them to recover the woman at the earliest.
On the assurance, the protestors dispersed and vehicular movement was restored.
However, the missing lady was not recovered when last reports were compiled.
