SRINAGAR, Mar 13: Senior NC leader, Mubarak Gul here today asked the party functionaries to work hard to strengthen the party at grass root level.
Addressing a meeting of NC block functionaries and workers at Noorbagh Eidgah, Gul expressed concern over the Government notice to families to vacate Yarkandi Sarai in Safa Kadal.
“These families have been living in Yarkandi Sarai for decades. Government must be empathetic to their condition and ensure they are rehabilitated properly,” he said.
He asked the party functionaries to work hard with a sense of commitment and claimed that workers of NC are epitome of sacrifice and selfless service.
Gul asked them to reach out and work closely with people to strengthen the party at all levels.
Block NC president Eidgah, Abdul Khaliq Sofi; Block secretary, Yunis Mubarak Gul; party functionaries and other prominent party workers attended the meeting.
